Purpose:

The Loss Prevention Leader Award honors an individual, whether working within an insurance carrier, brokerage firm, or service provider, who exemplifies excellence in identifying, mitigating, and managing risk for high-net-worth clients. Their forward-thinking strategies, hands-on support, and innovative solutions have helped clients to become more resilient and proactive in reducing losses and improved the overall client experience. By transforming risk into resilience, this individual serves as a vital behind-the-scenes partner to brokers and underwriters, enhancing the effectiveness of the entire insurance process. They truly embody what it means to be an architect of prevention and protection.

The recipient of this award will be recognized at the 2025 PRMA Annual Summit being held October 19 – 21 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Appropriate Nominees or Applicants:

The recipient of the award should exhibit the following:

• A professional role within an insurance carrier, brokerage firm, or third-party service provider focused on high-net-worth risk management or loss prevention.
• Proven expertise in identifying, mitigating, and managing risks specific to high-value homes and assets.
• A proactive and collaborative approach that supports brokers, underwriters, and clients in reducing losses.
• Demonstrated use of innovative strategies, technology, or hands-on services—such as, but not limited to, wildfire defense, water mitigation, flood protection, or smart home monitoring—to safeguard property.
• Recognition as a trusted partner whose contributions make a meaningful difference in protecting what matters most.

The recipient should be able to demonstrate real-world examples of how their work has helped clients avoid losses, made properties more insurable, or improved the overall risk profile in measurable and meaningful ways.
