Dorothy Sarna

Dorothy Sarna is a National Loss Prevention Program Director for Cincinnati Insurance Company. She conducts loss prevention & wildfire assessments on high valued properties in mountain resort communities in CO, MT, WY, ID & UT. In addition, she provides guidance to agency partners and company associates on wildfire modeling, risk selection and mitigation recommendations. She is also responsible for the oversight of the company’s Wildfire Mitigation Response Service for Cincinnati policyhoders in 13 states.

Dorothy joined Cincinnati in 2015 with over 30 years of experience in risk management, loss prevention and underwriting with several high-net worth insurance carriers. Prior to joining Cincinnati, Dorothy was the Senior Vice President of Risk Management & Loss Prevention for AIG’s Private Client Group. She joined AIG in 2001 where she held a variety of positions over fourteen years and was responsible to building the industry’s first wildfire emergency response program in 2005.

Based in Bigfork, Montana, Dorothy has completed training courses through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Firewise and the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington.
