Zack is the Director of Project Development for a Construction Management Company based in New York City. He has worked in the Construction Industry since 1988 on a nationwide basis in various capacities such as Jobsite Foreman, Project Manager, Estimator and Owner’s Representative.During his career, he has built many high-end commercial properties and luxury homes and has also completed the restoration of numerous landmark properties. Prior to his current position, he worked on multiple luxury residential properties as well as several large hotels with critical deadlinesHe is involved in Projects from the early stages of construction in which I coordinate schematic budgeting, scheduling, site logistics, permitting, value engineering, material sourcing, contract preparation and negotiation.Zack is also an Adjunct Professor of Construction Cost Estimating, Project Scheduling as well as Core and Shell means and methods within both the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate and Fordham University School of Professional studies, wherein I have taught both traditional classes and online classes since 2006.He also instructed and provided on-site training for the NYC Housing and Preservation Department, lending institutions and insurance companies in proper estimating and scheduling techniques and methodologies.Zack also regularly acts as a consultant and expert witness in construction claims that require his expertise.
