Vice President and Senior Training Specialist Jill Johnstone has been with Marsh McLennan Agency Private Client Services since 2015. She began as a Senior Client Advisor providing expert personal insurance advice and advocacy for affluent individuals and families in the Boston and New Hampshire Seacoast areas and is now the trainer responsible for on-boarding new colleagues for the division countrywide.
In her role as a training specialist, Jill educates colleagues on how to create and manage complex insurance programs on behalf of their clients by focusing on understanding each client’s unique lifestyle. Skills for in-depth consultation, product knowledge and client education are part of the coaching process to assist colleagues in delivering customized insurance program recommendations for effective insurance solutions. Jill also provides instruction for ongoing client service, including the delivery of challenging news and how to discuss future insurability when addressing changing client needs and market conditions.
For nearly 20 years, Jill has been serving the insurance and risk management needs of clients with significant wealth and complex exposures. In addition to her insurance industry experience, Jill brings her clients the benefit of more than 25 years of client service experience, which she gained through roles in banking and hotel management.
In her spare time, Jill participates in fundraising activities for the Alzheimer’s Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, New England Disabled Sports, and the ALS association. Her bucket list includes creating a non-profit organization to advocate for the elderly and disabled. Additionally, Jill served two terms as Chair of the Board of Directors of Area Home Care in Portsmouth, NH and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cornerstone VNA in
Rochester, NH.
