General Session

The Perspective of the Customer

Historically HNW personal insurance client satisfaction has been measured around claim response, pricing and flexible underwriting standards for carriers, while brokers were measured on quality of advice provided, as well as the variety of program offerings presented. However, battered by rising costs and availability of insurance, and having become accustomed to enhanced digital experiences and hyper personalization in other aspects of their lives, clients are challenging these measures.

In this session you will get a different perspective into how clients are viewing their insurance through the lenses of family offices, financial institutions and carriers who have insight into client’s needs, concerns, and wants…so as an industry we can build a playbook on how to communicate and better service the HNW customer.

Threats to Reputational Risk

Threats to reputation are real, impactful, and wide-reaching. A client who has a child in the household has a lot to protect. Specifically, children are susceptible to cyberbullying either as the victim or the aggressor. This presents a special risk to the reputation of the entire family for which the child’s actions, or inaction, reflect upon. This breakout session will provide an overview of the multiple elements creating this perfect storm, discuss if or how personal insurance coverage would respond, the wide-ranging impact of a cyberbullying event, and delve into proposed solutions to curb or prevent situations from arising.

Well-being in the Workplace – We are being challenged to deliver certainty during uncertain times which can often impact our overall well-being in the workplace.  Regardless of your role within an organization, maintaining happiness and security is a fundamental building block for a productive work environment.  During this open forum we will share ideas on how we can establish a new workplace equilibrium, stay engaged, productive, and preserve our overall well-being during ambiguous times.

How to Bring COI’s up to Speed on the Changing Insurance Marketplace – With so many changes that have occurred in the insurance industry, it has challenged us to explain this transformation to clients, but what about Centers of Influence? In this collaborative session we will share ideas on how we bring COI’s up to speed on what is happening in the insurance market, especially when they have referred clients in the past and today their experience may be different.

Learning More About the CPRIA Certification: Insights from Graduates – Have you been interested in taking the CPRIA certification but not really sure about the time commitment?  Or maybe you want to learn more about having your staff take this certification course and would like an overview of what it entails.  During this session you will hear directly from recent CPRIA graduates who will share their experiences on taking this course, gain insights into how they dedicated time to the course work, and hear what some of their key takeaways were to help them better advise clients.

Onboarding Employees in a Virtual Environment – Many companies are reimagining onboarding in today’s hybrid work environment.  In this session you will learn how some organizations have found success in effective virtual onboarding for their new employees while still creating connection, culture, and a sense of community.  During this session you’ll hear what has worked and hasn’t worked with others.
